An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.
A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.
Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
